He has been teaching ophthalmology for the last more than three decades. In addition to this book, he has written many popular books. His other books, have been well received by the medical students. Dr Khurana has published more than 160 scientific papers in national and international journals of repute. He has also contributed several chapters for four postgraduate reference books published in India and abroad. He has also been Editor of Haryana Journal of Ophthalmology and North Zone Journal of Ophthalmology. Presently he is Editor of Indian Journal of Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology (IJSPO). He was awarded WHO Fellowship for higher studies at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He was also selected for a course and awarded Certificate in Tropical Ophthalmology(CTO) at International Centre for Eye Health, Institute of Ophthalmology, University of London, UK. He has been honored with Distinguished Author Award by the Federation of Educational Publishers of India, Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology by HOS, an Excellence Award by Strabismological Society of India, Fellowship of All India Collegiums of Ophthalmologists (FAICO), and Gold Medal for excellance in ophthalmology, by Intraocular Implant and Refractive Society of India (IIRSI). Jyotirmay Biswas is an ophthalmologist who has specialized in Uveitis and Ophthalmic Pathology. He has published 341 articles in peer reviewed national and international journals, 47 chapters in books of ophthalmology, and authored a book on Ophthalmic Pathology. He has delivered invited lectures at national and international meetings. He has received 30 awards which includes Hari Om Ashram award for clinical research from Medical Council of India. Currently he is working as Director of Uveitis and Ophthalmic Pathology Departments at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Aruj K Khurana DNB, FICO, Editor, a Gold Medalist, currently Fellow, Vitreo-Retina Services, Narayana Nethralya, Bengaluru, Karnataka, has been trained at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He has special interest in Uvea and Vitreo-Retinal disorders. Formerly, he was consultant at Nirmal Eye Institute, a Sankara Eye Care Institution, Rishikesh and has also worked at Department of Ophthalmology, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Jolly Grant, Dehradun, Department of Ophthalmology, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi and Regional Institute of Ophthalmology PGIMS, Rohtak. He has co-authored nine books of ophthalmology and has more than 30 publications to his credit. Bhawna Khurana MS, DNB, FICO, Editor, is currently Fellow, Orbit, Oculoplasty and Oncology Services, Narayana Nethralaya Bengaluru, Karnataka. Formerly, she was consultant at Nirmal Eye Institute, a Sankara Eye Care Institution, Rishikesh. She has also worked at Department of Ophthalmology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh, Guru Nanak Eye Centre (GNEC), MAMC, New Delhi, and Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, PGIMS, Rohtak. She has co-authored nine books of ophthalmology and has more than 35 publications and several presentations to her credit. Parthopratim Dutta Majumder, Fellow Medical Retina and Uvea is now working as consultant in department of Uveitis and Intraocular Inflammation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He has written chapters for many books and published articles in various journals. He was awarded with Dr. TLK Row Endowment Award for the best associate consultant and Nataraj Pillai award for best scientific paper. He has presented papers in various national and international conferences. He is the editor of “INSIGHT”, the Scientific Journal of Medical and Vision Research Foundation. Padmamalini Mahendradas MD, is the Head of the Department of Uveitis and Ocular Immunology at Narayana Nethralaya, Bengaluru. She is a member of International Uveitis Study Group (lUSG) and International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS), and executive committee member of Uveitis Society of India. She has delivered invited lectures at several national and international meetings. She has received seven awards which includes Narsing A Rao Best Paper award at Uveitis Society of India. She has thirty indexed publications, ten non indexed publications and fourteen book chapters. Vishali Gupta MD, is an accomplished vitreo-retina and uvea expert of international repute working at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. She has delivered more than 500 invited lectures, conducted instruction courses at meetings and has more than 115 publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has edited three books and contributed 36 chapters in textbooks. She is a member of International Uveitis Study Group, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Honoraray Secretary of Vitreo-Retina Society of India and the only Indian to be the member of Club Jules Gonin and The Macula Societ. She has received several awards and also holds a US patent for multiplex PCR
