Indian Evidence Act IEA
Key features of the Indian Evidence Act:
?Relevancy of Evidence ?Admissibility of Evidence ?Burden of Proof ?Examination of Witnesses ?Privileged Communications ?Hearsay Evidence ?Presumptions
Doctors, clinicians and healthcare workers are involved in medicolegal work on day-to-day basis for which they need to be aware of the Indian Evidence Act. Till now only a few selective sections of IEA were described in books during undergraduate and postgraduate training in medical school which was not sufficient to equip them with complete knowledge about IEA. Also medicolegal issues can be involved in any other related field. There are 11 chapters further divided into 167 sections fulfilling the strong need to have a book exclusively on this topic so as to discuss all the sections of IEA in brief.
