Clinical pharmacy is the branch of pharmacy which deals with patient-care aimed to optimize the use of medication and promotes health, wellness, and diseaseprevention. These diseases affect productivity and drain family resources so adversely that they have become a major threat to the economic and social development. Today, the call for promoting healthy lifestyle by reducing above mentioned risk factors remains a challenge in both urban and rural settings. Simultaneously, there is a need to understand the underlying social determinants caused by globalization, urbanization and aging population to help reduce the prevalence of mortality and morbidity from common risk factors of CDs, NCDs, injuries and RCH issues.
