Besides, he has 175 publications in indexed journals. Dr Piyush Gupta has served as technical expert/advisor to Government of India, WHO, UNICEF, PHFI, and ICMR. He has been conferred fellowships by the Royal College of Paediatrics, UK, and Indian Academy of Pediatrics. American Academy of Pediatrics awarded him for work on micronutrients. He has served as editor-in-chief of Indian Pediatrics (the official journal of Indian Academy of Pediatrics). His major initiatives include workshops on research methods and scientific paper writing; and increasing awareness for practising rational management of diarrhea and pneumonia in children.
